We are pleased and excited to present artwork by this multifaceted artist. Most well known for the film HELLRAISER, Barker also is a prolific painter, writer and all around art-workaholic. We would be excited to set up advance interviews and features regarding the show here in Chicago at Packer Schopf Gallery.

Barker’s paintings are stylized works, expressive in nature. With layers of impasto, colors are buried with many more layers of color. Regarding subject matter . . . the work is fantasy driven, almost as if from a parallel universe. The characters he employs . . . can appear otherworldly, expressing intense emotion. Together, character and landscape meld to create a fantasy world in a body of work that is like no other.
