Upcoming Aron Packer Projects...
Hi Everyone... Long Time No See! I miss you. As promised... we are doing something pretty big for Aron Packer Projects in San Francisco opening at
Heron Arts this Saturday in case you are in the hood. If you are not... we'll still have to wait a little while before I do something here in Chicago... I am trying I swear. If you'd like to contact me about anything related to my new venture
Aron Packer Projects please email me. I have some great things up my sleeve.
My new job at
Lillstreet is more than coming along.....we have events there this weekend on Friday night November 6 from 6 - 9 PM. 3 gallery receptions, and a trunk show and workshop demo by the great
Esther Shimazu on Saturday.
SOFA is this weekend too, and all these events are related to
SOFA in some way, shape or form. If you'd like to sign up for
Lillstreet's emails
sign up here.
If you'd like to attend an event I am running... please come to see our new
Artists in Residence at the
Lillstreet loft on Thursday night, November 12th from 6:30 to 8:30PM. It's a half block north of
Lillstreet on the 2nd floor. A quick presentation, with a lively meet and greet afterwards. Hope to see you soon.
Notes on the
Heron Arts show in San Fran below ....
Heron Arts is pleased to present
The New Orleanian: A Nola inspired art, music, food, and spirits experience. We are honored to be partnering with the
New Orleans Musicians' Clinic, a nonprofit organization providing medical care and social services to musicians based in New Orleans. Together, we are proud to bring the Grammy award winning
Rebirth Brass Band to Heron Alley in the SOMA district of San Francisco. Join us on November 7th, 2015 from 6 - 11pm at Heron Arts (7 Heron Street, San Francisco, 94103), where we will be closing traffic on the alley to welcome Rebirth and all other things Nola.
In tandem with this unique musical presentation,
Heron Arts continues on its mission to promote and exhibit compelling contemporary art. On November 7th, we invite you to arrive early and view a curated group show presented in partnership with New Orleans based
Red Truck Gallery.
The exhibition includes important works from

Heron Arts was founded in 2013 by
Mark Slee, an active member of San Francisco's creative community, organizing events since the mid 2000s. Prior to
Heron Arts, Slee was a member of Facebook's product design and development team. He is joined in 2015 by directors
Noah Antieau and
Tova Lobatz, who are pursuing ambitious programming that will encompass installations and experiential interactive environments, alongside traditional gallery exhibitions.
If you got this far you know I love you. Best, Aron
